Woman punched and kicked in racist assault in Portsmouth

A WOMAN was kicked and punched while on the ground in a racist attack in Portsmouth.

The 41-year-old victim had just got out of a blue Toyota Yaris in Kettering Terrace, near the M275, when she was pushed from behind and fell.

While on the ground she was kicked and punched in her back and shoulder and was subjected to threatening racist abuse. She sustained a sprained shoulder.

After the assault, the man ran off in the opposite direction of the M275.
