A CARER who used her dead grandfather’s disabled badge to park on double yellow lines has been fined.

Kim Radmore, 48, of Minstead Road in Eastney, pleaded guilty at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court to using the blue badge on double yellow lines outside Tesco in Paradise Street on June 28 last year. The defendant said she was running late for a funeral and items belonging to her late grandfather were in her glove box.

She was told to pay court costs of £411.20 and £100 towards Portsmouth City Council’s legal representative.
