A YOUTH committee has drawn up a plan to tackle youth crime which has impressed the Police and Crime Commissioner, Simon Hayes.
The committee’s second meeting saw the group of 25 lay the foundations for a three-month project called the Big Conversation, which will see the group descend upon the streets of Hampshire to capture the thoughts and views of young people.
Simon Hayes said: ‘I was impressed with the progress they have made and the creativity in their thinking. They are brimming with ideas which they are looking forward to implementing to garner the views of their peer group. I look forward to receiving their findings.’
