Youths on bikes still causing a nuisance in Waterlooville despite police clampdown

A SURGE of anti-social behaviour caused by children and youths on bikes is plaguing residents in Waterlooville, despite police attempts to clampdown on the crimes.

In the past week, two gangs of youths have been reported to police by ‘intimidated’ locals.

The incidents come amid repeated attempts by officers to stop young hooligans riding motorbikes dangerously in the town.

In the latest incident, on February 22, youths on mopeds and motorbikes were riding on pavements in Harwood Gardens. Then, later that day, police say children riding bicycles were reported for ‘intimidating dog walkers’ at Jubilee Park, in Milton Road.

Victims are being asked to call police on 101.
