Youths seen wearing clown masks as craze hits area
RESIDENTS have reported seeing youths dressed up in clown masks trying to scare people across the Portsmouth area.
One reader said she saw three people walking around in Blanchard Avenue, in Rowner, Gosport.
She said: ‘Three idiots walking around with dark clothes and clown masks came and stared through our window for about five minutes trying to scare people!’
There have been other reported sightings of people wearing clown masks over the weekend in Waterlooville and in Leigh Park. They follow a spate of incidents happening across the country.
