A 44-year-old man was hit by a car while he was cycling yesterday afternoon.

The incident took place at the junction of Fratton Road and St Mary’s Road, Fratton, between 3pm and 4pm.

Police are keen to speak to any witnesses who saw the collision – in particular the driver of the car.
