Cyclist suffers '˜life-threatening' injury in crash on A32
A CYCLIST has suffered a life-threatening injury in a crash with a car.
The A32 has been shut in both directions between Bishop’s Wood Road and Kingsmead.
Diversions are in place via Kingsmead.
Hampshire police spokesman said the male cyclist is currently being taken to Southampton General Hospital.
He said the man suffered life-threatening injuries.
The air ambulance has attended the crash along with a land ambulance.
The driver of the silver Ford Galaxy is being treated for shock.
