CHARITY Latin dance sessions will help raise money for Comic Relief.

Portsmouth dance teacher Jo Booth is planning to donate all proceeds she receives from dance classes for children and adults held on March 19 to charity.

She teaches a high-energy style known as Zumba – which also helps with fitness – and is running three classes throughout the day for different ages.

The first is for four to eight-year-olds, and starts at 11am. This is followed by one for nine to 15-year-olds, starting at midday, and finally those aged 16 and over get a chance from 1pm.

Mrs Booth said: ‘I am looking for participants who already go to Zumba classes or who are completely new to it to join.

‘They will get to take part in a Latin-based dance fitness class, and raise money for a good cause at the same time.

‘Featuring popular songs, it will get you hooked if you aren’t already.’

All classes last for 50 minutes and cost £4.50 per session.
