Dance-a-thon raises animpressive £10,000 tohelp The Rowans Hospice
The annual dance-a-thon for The Rowans Hospice raised the impressive figure as dancers boogied away in disco, Charleston, street, Broadway and zumba styles.
A total of 120 people attended the six-hour fundraising session at Portsmouth Guildhall.

Hide AdJo Morgan from Gruneisen Road, Stamshaw, took part on Saturday night between 6pm and midnight.
The 30-year-old is a member of dance school Ellipsis Academy of Musical Arts.
She was raising cash in memory of her aunt Sandy Beale, who was cared for at the hospice, and her grandmother Valerie Laurence.
Jo said: ‘It was a really good night, really tiring but good.

Hide Ad‘It feels amazing to be able to give back to all those people who work really hard at the hospice.
‘A lot of them do that voluntarily and it’s nice to give them something to keep them going.’
Jo said the hospice, in Purbrook, supported her family when they needed it the most.
Amanda Mahoney, from The Rowans Hospice, said the hospice was grateful for the thousands raised.

‘Without people doing these mad challenges, the hospice wouldn’t be able to provide the care and support that it does.’
