Date set for Christmas lights switch-on in Waterlooville

THE date for the Christmas lights switch-on in a town centre has been confirmed. 

On November 17, Waterlooville’s precinct will be lit up, with fun for all the family including entertainment, a fair and craft stalls between midday and 6pm. 

A lantern procession will start outside Domino’s at 4.30pm, going through the town and led by a band, finishing with songs around the Christmas tree. 

The lights will be switched on at 5.15pm.

The south end of London Road will be shut between 4pm and 4.45pm.

Organisers Waterlooville Events Team hope precinct businesses will participate and put money towards installing the lights and tree.
