A KAYAKER whose body was identified more than a month after being found on the Isle of Wight has been named by police.

The dead man has been identified as 40-year-old Morgan Savage, from Dublin.

His body was discovered on Yaverland beach on September 11, but his identity had baffled Hampshire police, until this week.

His next-of-kin have been found and informed of his death. A post mortem examination was inconclusive.
