She has spent more than 20 years volunteering for a club close to her heart and that is why Margaret Taylor has been nominated as this week’s We Can Do It T-shirt winner.
Margaret, from Portchester, was nominated by chairman of the Portchester Blind Club Julie Wells.

Julie wanted to highlight all the work Margaret does for the club, which hosts social gatherings and meetings for people with eyesight problems.
Margaret has been a member and dedicated volunteer since 1992.
The 75-year-old says: ‘I have been working with the club for a long time and I enjoy volunteering for them.
‘They help so many people who have problems with their eyesight, including me.
‘Without the meetings and outings they organise, I would be left in on my own for most of the time.’
Margaret spends her time cooking for the club, making pickles and jams as well as making lunches for the days out.
She also makes cushions, blankets and art boxes for children.
Julie says: ‘Margaret does so much for the club and it is because of volunteers like her we can carry on.
‘I have only been chairman for two years and she has helped me a lot.
‘I wanted to nominate her because she works so hard and deserves to be recognised.’
Margaret says she is grateful to be nominated but just enjoys helping the club.
‘Portchester Blind Club is wonderful and does fantastic things for people,’ she adds.
‘I just like helping them out and it keeps me busy when I have free time. People who go to the club enjoy themselves, so they do a lot for us too.’
