Dedication of Cadets'new safety boat
The Warsash Sea Cadets will unveil their new £19,000 safety boat at a ceremony tomorrow.
The boat was paid for thanks to £4,999 from Fareham Borough Council’s community fund, £8,000 from Sport England, £4,000 from the Connaught Trust and £2,000 that the unit raised itself.
The event takes place from 10.30am at the Warsash Sea Cadets headquarters in Newtown Road.
Those attending will include staff and cadets, the mayor of Fareham Cllr Mike Ford, Cllr Keith Evans and Cllr Trevor Cartwright.
