FAMILIES of armed forces personnel based at HMS Sultan were invited to tour the base as part of a fun
day.

Youngsters were treated to a barbecue, live bands, children’s races, magic shows, and a volleyball
competition.

Captain Trevor Gulley, the commanding officer at the Gosport base, said: ‘HMS Sultan is a busy environment to work in and on top of the core training delivered, our personnel support events in the wider community through accommodating visits, community fundraising projects, and the HMS Sultan Summer Show.

‘The families day allows us the opportunity to recognise the support that families bring to the overall success of our personnel.’
