A MAN who absconded from Ford prison has been arrested and charged.

Craig Hayler, 30, walked out of Ford Prison in West Sussex, on March 10.

He was arrested in Southampton on July 29.

Hayler has now been charged with being unlawfully at large as a result of him walking out of HMP Ford, making off without payment and two counts of burglary – one in Hedge End.

He has been remanded in custody.
