A COLD war thriller will be screened on board HMS Alliance at the Royal Navy Submarine museum.

Crimson Tide will be screened onboard the historic submarine in Gosport on Friday, September 27 at 6pm and 8.30pm as part of Portsmouth’s Making Waves Film Festival.

The festival runs from Thursday, September 26 until Sunday, September 29 and other Portsmouth landmarks such as the Spinnaker Tower and Portsmouth Guildhall will play host to film events.

There are also film making workshops and innovative film installations at Tango Tea and The Kings Theatre.
