Group pleased with the success of charity single

THE Hampshire Skinhead Association has celebrated success from its first charity single.

The group released the single late last month, covering '˜54-46 Was My Number' by Toots and the Maytals as part of an ongoing charity campaign for Combat Stress, a charity that supports armed forces veterans with PTSD.

Association co-founder Keith Thripp said: '˜The single has definitely been a success; we reached number on the iTunes Reggae charts and stayed in the top 20 for over two weeks.

'˜We decided to choose the charity Combat Stress as many of our members suffer with PTSD and it is something which is close to our heart.'
