HMS Prince of Wales boots up its power systems
POWER systems for the Royal Navy's newest aircraft carrier have been switched on.
HMS Prince of Wales booted up its high voltage system – the first stage in beginning to fully power the 65,000-tonne, £3.1bn vessel.
She is the second of the two Queen Elizabeth-class ships.
