THE plan to remove five Tudor guns through the roof of the old Mary Rose Museum has been delayed for weeks due of the spell of bad weather.

The one-tonne guns were scheduled to be lifted out with a crane last month and taken to the new £35m Mary Rose Museum being built at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

But staff say they need three clear days to complete the move.

A spokeswoman said: ‘It may be delayed until June.’
