THE Ministry of Defence has named its new complaints commissioner to deal with allegations of bullying, harassment and discrimination from servicemen and women.

Nicola Williams has succeeded Dr Susan Atkins who had carried out the role since 2008.

Ms Williams will provide a point of contact for armed forces personnel, their families and friends if they do not have the confidence or are not able to raise allegations of bullying, harassment, discrimination or other improper behaviour directly with the chain of command.
