ROYAL Navy personnel are still not allowed to have hand and neck tattoos following an army review of its policy.

The army has relaxed its rules on hand and neck tattoos following the policy review.

Asked today if there has been any change in rules within the Royal Navy, a spokeswoman said the policy review had only applied to the army.
