AN MP has stepped into a row over a dying veteran told to work.
Falklands and Northern Ireland veteran Gordon Lang, 62, of Gosport is an amputee and has terminal lung cancer.
A government work programme provider wrote to him saying they would help him find a job when he is ‘fit and well’.
Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage said: ‘It’s important people don’t feel like they are on the professional scrap heap. However, It does sound like he hasn’t been treated very well.’
