Portsmouth City Council wins award for supporting service families
PORTSMOUTH City Council has received a bronze award for its contribution towards supporting service families and veterans in the city.
The honour came from the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme – the council is now working towards a gold award.
It comes after the council signed a pledge to help service families and veterans in the community.
