AN MP from Portsmouth has come under fire over allegations a UK-made bomb was used to destroy a civilian-run ceramics factory in Yemen.

SNP MP Margaret Ferrier asked the government whether or not reports by Human Rights Watch that a bomb made in the UK was used in an airstrike in Yemen were being looked into.

Responding, Portsmouth North MP Penny Mordaunt, the armed forces minister, said the government was ‘aware of the allegation’ and that the Ministry of Defence was ‘considering a range of evidence’.
