THE story of Gurkhas and their role on the Western Front will be told at a museum.

Gavin Edgerley-Harris, curator at the Gurkha Museum in Winchester, will look at the battles in which Gurkha regiments were involved, the bravery of the first Victoria Cross Winner and the stories of the wounded in hospitals in the UK.

He will also examine memorials to Gurkhas in this country.

The talk will take place at Petersfield Physic Garden on October 16. Buy tickets, at £7 from the Flora Twort Gallery.
