A REMEMBRANCE service will be held on Sunday – Trafalgar Day – to commemorate the life of Admiral Lord Nelson and pay tribute to all those who have died at sea.

The service, led by the Dean of Portsmouth Reverend David Brindley, will begin with a procession from the Royal Naval Club and Royal Albert Yacht Club in Old Portsmouth at 11am.

The sea cadet band will lead the parade to Portsmouth Cathedral for the service which begins at 11.15am.

The Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, Cllr Frank Jonas, and the Mayors of Havant, Fareham and Gosport, will be among the guests, as well as Cdre Tony Radakin of Portsmouth Naval Base.
