Phil Stock was awarded the Heaviest Pumpkin trophy, with his entry weighing 215.4lbs, while Lily Hosseini-Ashrafi won the Junior Cup for her 5.3lb pumpkin.

Organiser Linda Glenister said: ‘The show went very well, it was well attended and everyone had great fun. There weren’t many large pumpkins, but the committed pumpkin growers produced a splendid array as usual.

‘Our thanks must go to everyone who helped and all of those that entered the classes and came along on the night.’
