FANS of the hit movie Dirty Dancing can watch a special screening on Valentine’s Day in aid of The Rowans Hospice.

The hospice has arranged for the screening of the 1987 romance at The Kings Theatre in Southsea.

There will also be live dance performances on the night.

It follows successful charity screenings of Grease and Mamma Mia which raised more than £12,000 for The Rowans.

Ali George, the events fundraiser at the hospice said: ‘We hope everyone will come along and support this special Valentine’s screening.

‘Dirty Dancing is a fantastic feel-good movie.

‘As well as the screen romance and dancing, theatre goers will also be entertained by Amici Dance who have choreographed a special dance to compliment the film.’

Tickets for the screening on Saturday, February 12, at 6pm, cost £10. Call the Kings Theatre on (023) 9282 8282.
