FIREFIGHTERS were called to Clarendon Road to reports of a flood.

One crew from Southsea fire station went to the property in Southsea at 12.30am today.

A tap valve had been left open on the dishwater, which had caused the flooding.

Firefighters cleared the excess water and ensured the scene was safe.

There were no injuries.
