Dog festival is ready toÂ come toÂ city's seafront

A FESTIVAL celebrating a breed of dog will be coming to Southsea later this month,

Schnauzerfest will be taking place on Saturday, October 13.

An annual event, it is made up Â of 56 walks all on the same weekend. Portsmouth's walk celebrating schnauzers and their owners is taking place at 11am from the Coffee Cup at Eastney.

All schnauzers and their canine and human friends are invited to join the stroll.

This year's festival will be raising cash for theÂ Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre (DBARC) based in Berkshire.Â
