Driver injured in two-car crash at junction

FIREFIGHTERS had to cut the roof off a vehicle after two cars collided at a busy junction.

The accident happened just after 3pm at the junction of Boldens Road and Clayhall Road, in Gosport.

One vehicle went into the back of another and one of the drivers was slightly injured.

Paramedics were called after the male driver said he felt unwell.

Firefighters from Gosport and Fareham spent 45 minutes taking the roof off the vehicle for the patient to be taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
