A driver was taken to hospital this morning after a collision between a car and a van.

An ambulance spokesman said paramedics were called to the incident on the A27 eastbound, near Fareham Station, just before 9.30am.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue said a taxi had ended up on the roundabout.

The driver was taken by ambulance to the Queen Alexandra Hospital.
