Drivers warned to beware bad weather

DRIVERS are being urged to be vigilant as bad weather hits the Portsmouth area today.

The Met Office have issued a warning across the south east could be hit with heavy and possibly thundery showers later today.

Storm Angus, the first storm of the autumn, has hit the south coast, which has caused many areas to be temporarily closed off.

Strong northeasterly winds up to 40-50mph may also develop for a time.

The Met Office has also put out a flood risk across parts of south west England
