TWO crews from Southsea fire station were called to reports of a bin fire in the early hours of Saturday.

The firefighters went to Paradise Street, in Landport.

The call came in to the fire brigade at 3.10am.

The blaze was in a bin, at the back of the street, near a row of shops.

Firefighters used a hose reel to put out the fire and were there for half an hour.

The cause of the fire was unknown

No-one was injured.
