Easter egg hunt in Fareham woods to be held for families

FAMILIES can enjoy a popular Easter egg hunt after it was announced it will return.

The popular event at Fareham’s Holly Hill Woodland Park will be held on April 1.

This year, the hunt’s theme is Alice in Wonderland.

Children can search the woods in Sarisbury Green for Easter treats with characters from book also there on the day.

Fareham Borough Council’s executive member for leisure and community Councillor Sue Bell said: ‘This Easter event is great fun for all the family and is getting more and more popular each year.

‘It’s always a sell-out so get your tickets quickly.’

The first session starts at 11.30am with phased entry times throughout the day. Last entry is at 3pm.

Fancy dress is optional and parents are being reminded to ensure children are wearing sturdy shoes as the woodland park may be muddy.
