STUDENTS at Bay House School were all smiles as they opened their A-level results.

It was a tense moment as the pupils from the Gosport school found out what they achieved.

Ashleigh Axelsen, from Gosport, had tears of joy. The 18-year-old said: ‘I was so happy with my results. I was nervous opening them but I’m really happy.’

Ashleigh got an A in PE, a B in drama and theatre and a B in English language.

She is taking a gap year to travel the world and will then go on to study PE and coaching at Chichester University.
