THE long-awaited results day has come and 98 per cent of students at Portsmouth College have passed.
Rsults today showed 42 per cent achieved A* to B grade at A-level, 70 per cent at A* to C, with the ‘remaining achieving grades C onwards.
Steve Frampton, principal of Portsmouth College said: ‘These results are our best yet.
‘We are really proud with the hard work and sheer determination our students have shown over their course.
‘Now we have an even higher number of students going to top universities.’
Amber Field, 18, who gained a C in Media Studies, D in film and English literature, and a D in film studies didn’t gain the results she was expecting. Although she got into Chichester University to study primary education specialising in Maths.
She said: ‘I’m really happy with getting into university.
‘The staff here have been really supportive and Steve Frampton has supported me so much in getting work experience.’
