IT WAS another successful year for students at St Vincent College as their overall pass rate is their best yet.

The college had a 98% pass rate beating last year’s best ever results of 97%.

Students from the Gosport college were over the moon with their grades.

Megan Francis, from Locks Heath, is going on to study adult nursing at Southampton after getting a double distinction star (the equivalent of an A*) in health and social care B Tech. She also got a C in sociology and a D in biology.

The 19-year-old said: ‘I was nervous this morning but I am so happy.

‘It is such a relief knowing I got what I needed to get into Southampton University.’
