AROUND 31 per cent of teenagers in Portsmouth study a degree after finishing college, research has found.

A government analysis has found a teenager’s chances of going on to higher education varies depending on where they live.

In Portsmouth, 31 per cent of young people go on to study a degree, compared to somewhere such as Ealing in west London where 64 per cent do.
