SCHOOL-LEAVERS who are re-thinking their options after Fareham College announced it was scrapping its A-level courses are being invited to an advice afternoon at St Vincent College.

Students can find out about the range of courses on offer at the Gosport-based college at an advice afternoon.

Prospective students can visit from 3pm until 4.30pm tomorrow where a team of advisors will explain the options open to them.

The college offers more than 35 AS and A-levels.

College liaison manager Alec Payne said: ‘Not surprisingly we have had significant interest in the past few days, but we would like to reassure worried students and parents that it is not too late to apply to St Vincent and we would be delighted to see them at our event.

‘We pride ourselves on the quality of our advice and guidance and this is a great opportunity for young people to get some first-class careers advice.’

Students who can’t make it tomorrow can call the college on (023) 9258 8311 to arrange an individual appointment.

Fareham College announced last week it was stopping its A-level courses due to lack of demand.
