A BABY and toddler group has grown from strength to strength since its future was secured.

The Lots of Tots group meets at the Drayton Centre in Havant Road, Drayton, every Friday and its organiser says more people have been coming through the doors every week.

The group’s future was in jeopardy after its old organisers decided they were unable to carry on running it – but the Havant and District Branch of the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) stepped in to save it.

Michelle Wade, Havant and District NCT co-ordinator, said: ‘The NCT is proud to be helping families discover such a friendly, welcoming group in the heart of their area.

‘One of the key objectives is to provide events like nearly-new sales, barbecues, quiz evenings and groups for parents so they feel they are in touch with other people going through the same experiences.’
