CORY Nolan loves school so much that he is now celebrating eight full years of 100 per cent attendance.
The 11-year-old, who has just left Cottage Grove Primary School in Southsea, has not had a single day off school.
Cory said: ‘I enjoy school. I like it because we can learn new things.’
Headteacher Polly Honeychurch said: ‘It’s absolutely fantastic that a child can be there for every single day of their school life. Even when he hit his head he didn’t want to go home. He loves school.’
Cory’s mum, Kasia, 40, added: ‘I’m proud of him that he wants to get up and go to school every day. He’s been lucky because he’s had such brilliant teachers.’
He will now go to The City of Portsmouth Boys’ School in Hilsea.
