Pupils learn more about engineering at naval base

STUDENTS from Highbury College have attracted thousands of pounds in investment to pursue social enterprise ideas.

Six enterprising students have been awarded £6,700 by Live UnLtd - a National Lottery funded initiative that provides support and start-up cash to young people.

Music student Matthew Feltham, 20, was awarded £1,100 to set up his own entertainment label to help local talent get more publicity. Sasha Millington-Latham, 19, Phebe Parsons, 18, and Lewis Long, 18, were awarded £2,500 on a project to combat bullying.

Mohammed Khan, 17, was awarded £1,950 to set up a boxing academy and Rachel Stella Layton, 21, received £1,150 to launch a dance workshop in Portsmouth.
