School heads join MP to call for fair share of funding

HIGHBURY College has played host to delegates from other colleges keen to learn the secrets of its recent Ofsted success.

The Portsmouth College achieved the top ‘outstanding’ overall grade during its most recent inspection.

More than 100 people from colleges as far as Scotland and Jersey, took part. Steve Griffin, head of the school of education and training at Cornwall College, said: ‘We wanted to see how a college moves from being a good college to an outstanding college.’
