BOUNCY castles, treasure hunts and much more will be on offer at a primary school’s summer fair next month.

St John’s CoE Primary in Rowlands Castle is to host the party on June 11 from 12pm until 4pm to raise money for school projects such as furnishing the library with new books and subsiding trips – and to give families in the community a fun day out.

Sue Arnold, who chairs the school’s PTA, said: ‘There will be bouncy castles, beat the goalie, coconut shy, crafts, face painting, treasure hunts, rides on an open top bus and lots more for the kids.

‘Adults and kids alike can get some brilliant bargains in the nearly new toys, books and DVDs stalls.

‘On top of that we will be holding a full afternoon of entertainment in our arena with displays and games. We hope to see many people on the day.’
