Crookhorn headteacher Grahame Sammons praised students and staff for their hard work
He said: ‘We have some really good individual results and that’s a good testament to the hard work staff and pupils put in. We’ve done slightly worse than in previous years and we’ve been, like a number of schools, a victim of the grade boundaries, particularly in English.’
Forty-three students at Crookhorn got Ds in English and Mr Sammons indicated these may be re-marked.
However, Crookhorn is celebrating its best maths results to date, achieving 65 per cent A* to C.
