Thomas Bullpett, 18, from Chichester, has already had a taste of being in the limelight, having worked alongside Sir Patrick Stewart in Chichester Festival Theatre’s MacBeth.

He said: ‘I would love to be an actor but I’m going to study Politics at Warwick University. It’s because they have a fantastic drama society.

‘I’m just so relieved I’ve got the results I need.’
