AN EDUCATIONAL scheme aimed at bringing First World War history to life has been awarded £15,000.

Hampshire County Council has given the cash to the Gallipoli Association.

It will be used for bursaries for secondary school students to give them an opportunity to take a trip to the Gallipoli peninsula.
