PEOPLE have an opportunity to discover the University of Chichester’s history at this year’s Heritage Open Day.

The Chichester and Bognor Regis campuses will both be open for tours, giving people a chance to learn more about the former life of a university which now educates more than 5,000 students each year and employs around 1,000 people.

Visitors to the Chichester campus on Friday, September 7 and Saturday, September 8 will get the chance to see behind the scenes of the sports laboratories where Olympic medallists in sailing prepared for London 2012 as part of their tour.

Meanwhile, the Bognor campus on Thursday, September 6 allows visitors to continue the Jubilee celebrations, as guests can tour the former holiday home of the Royal family, now used as the home of the School of Enterprise, Management and Leadership.

Pre-booking is required for all tours.
