CHILDREN taking part in the Summer Reading Challenge have just under two weeks left.

The Portsmouth City Council scheme, which challenges children to read six books over the summer, runs until Saturday, September 20 when a presentation event will take place at Southsea Castle.

David Percival, libraries, learning and engagement manager said: ‘Although children have gone back to school, we want as many children as possible to get their certificates and medals this year.’
